the burgers here are insaneeee. i was in redondo beach for a work event and wanted to grab lunch somewhere close to my hotel, so i walked over to this hole-in-the-wall spot, not expecting to be blown away. i went inside the liquor store to order; i asked for some recommendations and selected the dressed burger along with a basket of truffle parmesan fries. i then waited outside on a bench and received the order through the pickup window. the burger OOZED with juices and bursted with flavor. loaded with ingredients, all contributing to the glorious umami taste. i loved every bite. kinda wished i got another burger LOL but i finished my meal with the fries, which weren't as astounding (it was stuck together and got cold quickly). but definitely, DEFINITELY get a burger here!! i told my coworker to come as soon as he arrived, and he was delighted with his cash burger (he inhaled it).

Finally found this place Classic burger looks perfect but I did the Bahn Mi and wish I had not. Just that the Flavors didn't work for me, that being said I know it's a good place. Did the fries regular which were great. Did the edamame and as much as I liked it, too much sauce and messy I'll be back especially now that I know where it is. No frills no bathrooms

Food 4 Service 5 No ambience: it's a pickup place only. There's 2 seats at the counter The burger is sloppy. The meat is prominent. The lettuce needs to be more crunchy. The fries were huge and great. The fried chicken is more like a fish and chip batter . The brussel sprouts were tasty. Try it out. I'm not sold on it. Bon appetit

The burgers here are huge, messy, and soooo delicious! Service was great, and waiting for the food was no problem as you know they're making it to order. As a first timer, I had no clue what to order as everything sounded good. I went with the chance burger and was anything but disappointed. Definitely coming back to try some other items! There are some tables outside where you can eat, but if it too cold or windy, your car will do-- make sure you have lots of napkins!

Whatever your plans, you're going to want to head here early to carve out time to read their unique and interesting menu. So many incredible and unique combinations! The staff was friendly and patient with my indecisiveness- the menu is just too good! I can't believe it took me this long to check this place out. I was anticipating a smash burger, which it is not but still hella delicious. I got the "Bull burger" which has bulgolgi added on top - that drippy melted cheese and korean aioli combo was bomb. My partner got the "Dressed burger" which he loved. I thought bacon could've been a bit more crispy. Be prepared to MUNCH these burgers are stacked! The crisp sear of the bun is perfection. These guys know how to burger! Ambiance is cool and unassuming. You can order inside through a liquor store that's giving Brooklyn Bodega - which made my heart happy. Then there's tables outside facing west. In the colder months, head there while the sun is out and it is a nice outdoor sunshine filled meal.

Set inside a local liquor store this dive is known for unique burgers that are high quality and really innovative. Their prices are kinda steep for how much you get, but the food doesn't disappoint. Today I got the Napoleon burger ($22.00) which is bacon, caramelized onions, smoked Gouda, cheddar, fried egg, spring mix, topped with braised short rib, truffle Parmesan fries, tomato jam & Korean aoli - and it was an incredible symphony of flavor, not to mention a lot of food. My girlfriend got the Sally Sammie ($15.00) which is a grilled salmon sandwich with miso glaze, spring mix, onion, tomato & spicy vinaigrette. She liked it but didn't love it. I'm fact, she as still hungry after eating it and had to get a classic burger ($11) to leave satisfied - which she took half home. The classic has thousand island, shredded lettuce, onion, tomato and cheddar cheese - and she liked it better than the Sally. We also got their famous Truffle Parmesan Fries ($8) and they were fantastic as usual. Overall the burgers here are really innovative and good, but after tax this burger meal was over $50. I'm not denying that it was definitely was a special meal but this price point is a bit high for me to justify coming here more than once or twice a year. There are just too many other great burger places around that are significantly less expensive. We will definitely be back - just not sure how soon that will be.

At first glance, you probably thought Google Maps directed you to the wrong address. There's no way this is the correct burger restaurant, but looks can be deceiving. With a sketchy-looking "order inside" sign on the wall outside, you walk into the liquor store and see this hole-in-the-wall burger joint. I ordered the classic hamburger and regular fries to be on the safe side, but I wish I had been braver to try out the other options. The total costs for the hamburger and fries came out to be ~$20 with a tip. The hamburger felt like a homemade hamburger fresh from off the grill. The fries were a little salty but goes perfect with the ketchup. We ate outside on the tables since there weren't any available seats inside or public bathrooms that we saw, although I could be wrong. Summary: - BATHROOM. I didn't see one but there could be one inside the liquor store for customers only. - CLEANLINESS. The presentation of the food was good. Nothing spilled and all utensils were in the bag. - COSTS. $ Decently priced for the quality. - CUSTOMER SERVICE. The staff were very fast. It took about 10 minutes for the food to come out. - FOOD QUALITY. The ingredients are fresh and super tasty. Nothing frozen, generic, or bland. Something about hamburgers make me nostalgic. - FOOD QUANTITY. A decently sized meal. - WAIT TIME. About a 10 minute wait.

Advice for dating and choosing restaurants: Looks aren't everything. This joint is less hole in the wall and more like a liquor store speakeasy. Its unassuming appearance can make it hard to miss but it's what's inside that counts. The naked burger was juicy and flavorful. It wasn't too heavy on my stomach and the portion sizes were just enough to satisfy my hunger without overindulging. Got a side of sweet potato fries. It was recommended by the cashier and he didn't steer me wrong. Sweet potato fries are hit or miss and this was definitely a hit. Since it is located inside of a liquor store, you can go wild with picking your drink. We also ordered edamame and didn't realize that they came covered in a sauce. They were kind enough to remake the edamame for us without the sauce. Customer service was a home run. There is an outdoor seating area where you can chow down with friends. Good enough food for a date but not the ambiance for one unless it's extremely low key. Parking is mainly street parking but we didn't have trouble finding any after a nice day at the beach on the weekend. This will not be a one night stand with the standing room. I'll be back for more.
